What was the highlight of Eureka Palace Hotel Spa Resort

Good location, excellent staff but breakfast needs to be improved.

The room was very clean and spacious. The pool was clean as well and not crowded. Location was good but you have to have a car ideally. Staff was very friendly and let us use the bar's microwave as well.

Breakfast room was a bit too warm and, breakfast was very limited, except for cakes and dessert. English breakfast consisted only of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. No salads. Replenishing of food was very slow.

The bed was uncomfortable and felt old, having lost its springiness . Also a/c wasn't very effective and the room felt very stuffy

This is the second time we stayed there. Loved it just the same. Very clean, comfortable and the food is very good and fresh. Rooms are lovely and spacious and beds are very comfy. Will definitely go again.

Good family holiday

The room was boiling hot with a/C off. B'fast is good but need better co ordination. There always items missing from the buffet table. Some servers need to be more polite when answering a question from a customer. I would have preferred that the gym opens early in the morning rather than it opens after bfast.

I liked the hotel itself, modern and clean. Easy parking.

The breakfast wasn't good at all. Eggs and bacon were cold and the pastries were only fresh on one of the days.

Fantastic peaceful place to stay in with highlights of the Ippodromo Horse racing track

The hotel is very comfortable, very clean, the room was big with comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom was fine too. We ate at the restaurant in the evening which was very convenient and the food was good and prices reasonable. However I was fascinated to see the horse track right outside the windows of the hotel. I loved looking out whilst taking breakfast or dinner, seeing the horses go by. It truly was a highlight. The view was also amazing. There was a real lot to choose from for breakfast and everything was fresh. There is good parking too. We also used the indoor pool, which we found very convenient and the water temperature was also good. I would definitely love to go there again. It's a must.

It was a comfortable stay, sometimes noisy at night as other residents not considering other guests

The size of the room , being able to watch the horses training in the morning.

Breakfast was often very busy, with difficulty finding a clean table and foods almost all eaten. Coffee machines not working.

The hotel offers many services. Parking is easy. The view on the hippodrome is interesting. Room was spacious and bed comfy.

Overall the ambients are a bit oldish. A good refurbishment would be needed.

Hotel rooms were very clean, room was big with large terrace. B'fast was good. Nice views, good parking and nice ambience overall.

Since it is a resort, I expected that during the evening there would be a bar to have a drink or a coffee, but there wasn't. For lunch and dinner there was only one option where to eat within the resort, with a limited menu as well as not many child friendly meal options. The terraces were really nice, though no privacy whatsoever. Since they were all made of see through glass, even the sides.

Excellent stay

The hotel was easily accessible. The pool, room, staff, lobby etc were great. The buffet dinner (one-time occasion on the eve of the Ferragosto feast) was awesome. The food selection, setting (outside with nice large floor candles and white-dressed tables) were top-notch.

Coffee! During breakfast it was served manually, from one person, using a single machine. Sometimes it took more than 20 minutes if one went during peak breakfast hours. In the room there were no coffee making facilities. To buy a coffee, it was either from the pool bar, or by asking the reception in the main lobby, who looked like they were using their own (as in, staff) Lavazza a modo mio machine. I thought coffee was like water for Italians, but not at Eureka :) Other than this funny anecode, it was a good experience and we are sure to recommend it and return to Eureka.

I liked everything but the AC situation was very bad temp in the room was 27 degree and nobody good do anything.

Great value base to get out and about to see Syracuse and east Sicily. Would stay again, but would take a travel kettle

Location is great, although lack of dining facilities mean you really need transport to get out and about. Pool area is great and staff accommodating. Breakfast is great with a wide choice; however make sure you arrive early as it becomes packed and you then need to wait as they refresh the options.

No tea/ coffee facilities in the room and only options for food and drink are at the pool side bar until 7pm. Towels for the pool are only issued by the spa who are very very officious at chasing you down to return then each day! Dining option feels like a pop up dinner in a community centre- lots of options and wine were not available and no atmosphere. However staff were lovely.
